Good Boot but can't get is on.

My husband had me order this boot for him.

I am sure this is a very good boot; I just can't get it on my foot. The area just above the ankle is too small to allow my foot to go all the way in the boot.

I have always bought Durham's Contractor boot because it was easy to get on and off. Durham discontinued this boot so I decided to try Gear Box's.

I live in Belize and I was told that I couldn't return the boots, so I have this nice pair just setting there for me to admire.
